09.24.2008 Putting myself out there

I’m auditioning now many times a week. Sometimes 3-4 times a day, which is tough for LA because of the traffic. I’m stuck in traffic everyday. it’s a pain in the neck. But when you live in LA you got to deal with it.

09.01.2008 LA LA LOVE

Back in LA without any idea of who, what and when. I start submitting to different projects I find online and within a week I start to audition like crazy. Maybe it’s not love at first sight between me and LA, but we’re getting along. Oh, and we’ve moved to The Hills in WEHO. It’s spectacular!!

Moving from New York to Los Angeles
It’s for real and it scares the shit out of me. I’m moving from my cool little shag in Williamsburg to LA. It helps to know that I’m staying in Cary Grant’s old house in Los Feliz.

New project shooting in NYC
I get the part of Red’s mother in the project ‘Red’s Pyramid’. The movie is produced as a part of a cultural cooperation between New York, Copenhagen and Istanbul. Artzy and fun crew.

Still in Copenhagen negotiating my next writing endeavor. This time about following her dreams in Los Angeles. Title, publishing house etc. to be announced.

Book Signing Party in Copenhagen ‘‘NYC – Head Over (High) Heels’’ is my first book/novel published by Thaning & Appel. It’s a love story between me and New York. And it’s kind of both a novel and a book. I blend facts with fiction and the outcome is a mix of genre, which is not easy to put a label on. But who cares as long as it’s entertaining, sexy, fashion and raw . My book gives a pretty good insider ‘kiss and tell’ about the city that never sleeps and I dedicate it to all the NYC lovers out there.  Anyways, I’m having a book signing  on Thursday May 29th from 5pm – 7pm. On stage in New York
This is fun! I got two parts in two different Moliere plays: The Imaginary Cuckold, or Sganarelle where I play Célie and in The Flying Doctor where I play Lucille. We are putting it up on an off-off broadway stage @ Jimmy’s in East Village New York. Come and watch us and have a drink… or three!!!
