You have probably seen this picture from Ralph Lauren’s add before and overheard the dispute there has been about sizes of runway models. This particular example is über-last season, I know. But nevertheless; it’s so damn important that we focus on this today, tomorrow and in the future. That’s why I keep bringing it up.
Especially because I’ve seen this gorgeous model girl on Rose Bar in NYC, no makeup and in sandals. She is skinny, tall, gorgeous and NOT tooth pick – gross looking as the picture below. That picture is the result of some male retoucher who’s gone completely overboard in his own fantasy about young boys.
See, the problem with the fashion industry is that it (to a large degree) is run by men who love teenage or 20-something boys without curves and metabolisms like 3 year-old racehorses.
I cannot comprehend that Classy Mr. Lauren is falling for this fashion nonsense and has fired her. She’s the bomb! And what kind of signal is that to send to his potential costumers??? I know that he is selling a dream. But seriously! This is ‘anorexia-madness’ on speed and not a dream scenario that I or any of my cool inspiring friends would like to aspire to.
I read this article on a great site that I found called LELAMODA and felt like sharing it with you..

I did an interview with a Danish Magazine and straight after a photo shoot with Max Di Biaggio. Both this Wednesday in NYC. After wards I took the subway downtown to Soho House, Spice Market and One Oak and partied with my friends like there was no tomorrow. That was a great night!
Max just sent me this shot. More to come…

I’m back in NYC and it feels like I never left. 2 years have passed since I moved to Los Angeles, but I’m still feeling this city like never before. I’m still head over (high) heels in love …..
First day in the city and I’m getting my hair done. First time in a year and it shows. My roots are beyond outgrown and my hair pretty much looks like a haystack.
But I’m really not too hot about getting my locks cut or colored. See, I’ve figured out that it works for me to stay in the twilight zone between blond and brunette. That gets me in to more auditions. So my aim is to stay in that ‘zone’.
Mazja, the most amazing hair stylist has promised to take care of me Down Town at The Arrojo Studios. Always ask for her if you need a haircut. She is the bomb!
Here are a couple of goofy shots of me waiting around:

Goofy hat 1..

Goofy hat 2… (Maybe a new fashion idea for Lady GAGA…?)

Peppermint Tea and iphone…

The entertainment… ha ha
… I’m not telling who gave me that book!!!!
