This serum is the best anti-wrinkle miracle worker I’ve tried so far. If you use it 2 times a day in the AM and the PM on squeeky clean skin on your ‘problem areas’ (usually around the eyes, mouth and forehead) you will see improvement.

I heard about Anna Bellina about 2 years ago from a friend in NYC who has the same sensitive skin as me. I react to everything and anything. It’s a severe pain in the neck because I have to take really good care of my skin everyday not to look like crap.
It’s annoying to have friends or a very pretty little sister who looks like a peach without any effort at all. But with Anna Bellina’s products I’m getting a little support in the beauty department, which after a big night out is much needed . And she is cheap and a 100% organic!
I have to switch products often not to break out and I can’t use day or night creams. They are to rich for me. Only SPF in the daytime and then I mask a lot. That works for me, but everyone is different. But I always have the argireline serum in my purse.
It’s been ages since I had a true girls’ night out. So yesterday Emma and I took revenge. After sushi with the boys at home we went down to a fairly new spot in town called Voyeur. The place is small and has the burlesque feel to it that most clubs have right now. I mean The Box launched it in NYC like 4 years ago and now it’s hitting LA. That tells you a little something about how far behind LA is with stuff like this ha ha .
But nevertheless it is a cool club and there are topless girls dancing around on stages and crawling in fishnet in the ceiling. Très Eyes wide shut… and the music is excellent. We had so much fun and are definitely coming back.

Yesterday I shot some new pictures with photographer/designer Emma Sandvik. We pretty much just fooled around down stairs in the house for a couple of hours with her camera while we were listening to Lykke Li.
I was at a dinner party 3 nights ago with a bunch of NYC actors, who all recently moved out here. One of them told me about a so called Master Cleanse. I’ve heard of the concept before, and also heard that some are lucky to reach a deep spiritual clarity by doing the cleanse. I’ve always been intrigued by it, but being a person who has never fasted or done a detox I didn’t think I could manage not to eat, but to live only on lemonade and water for a longer period of time.
However, feeling all cocky and grounded after my 10 day silent Vipassana meditation course I was pretty ready to take on the world. So next day I get myself down to Pavillions Supermarket to buy tons of organic lemons, organic maple syrup and what not. It was the day before Thanksgiving so the market was packed with people stuffing their carts like never before. Damn I forgot about the big turkey day. How could I! Anyways, I decided to pursue no mater what. No holiday can stop me master cleansing!
But alas…… At this hour I’m 2 days into the Master Cleanse and I’m feeling miserable to tell you the truth. It’s not the fact that everybody is feasting around me that sucks (well that sucks too). But I’m drained from energy…. and I can’t believe what I’m doing to myself. But on the website it says that the 2nd day is the worst so I’m going to suck it up and keep on doing it at least for 8 days. Supposedly you get a natural high on the 5th day… See, that I want to experience
I know, I know!!! It is NOT trendy neither cool nor sophisticated to sing karaoke. But seriously, you haven’t lived until you have given it your shot at Gloria Gayner’s ‘I will Survive’ at a Karaoke bar.
So when I got the invite to come down and make a fool of myself at the LA club VILA last Monday my inner child pulled my right arm and screamed ‘yes-yes-yes OMG how fun it will be. Get out your glitterati eyeshadow and work it girl’. While my more self aware and adult ego was pulling hard on my left arm and telling me to straighten my hair and grow up.
Funny thing is, my friend Swedish Bombshell and designer Emma Sandvik has history as a church singer and when she heard about the possibility of singing and drinking vodka in LA she was so excited that she almost fell off her chair.
So off we went. Me driving so I only had one cosmo for the night, which is very unusual for a viking like me, but it wouldn’t have been a problem if I didn’t have to sing….uuuurrrrggghh!!!!

Anyways, 3 waters (for me) and 3 vodka sodas (for Emma) later ‘The Scandinavians’ were called up to sing Madonna’s ‘Papa Don’t Preach’. It was actually really great because the acoustics are so bad in that club so you can’t hear yourself ha ha . So sorry for any inconvenience we might have caused others that night.
We ended the night with ‘I Will Survive’, but that was only because I made Emma swear that we would not sing any Whitney Houston, because I would have to shoot myself in the head after.

After the most intense experience at the Vipassana Meditation Course I was more or less ready to start working again. First shoot was a couple of pick-up scenes from a movie called Sedona’s Rule, that I shot back in June.
It was sooo much fun to work with the crew again. The came down to LA for a the weekend and we spent a day of shooting.
Yup yup people! It’s the first of November and the Sunday after Halloween. Everybody is sleeping or trying to cope with hangovers while I’m busy bee writing on a treatment for a TV show and prepping to go to an audition for a feature film later today.
Nothing glamorous about my life these days …. mostly sitting in my BF’s boxers and a wife beater top writing, sweating (it’s 90 outside), drinking instant coffee and contemplating how crazy it is that I’m going on an Indian Meditation Retreat on Wednesday morning for 10 days.
1-0 days where I will obey the ‘noble silence ‘ and not speak, communicate with anybody or make any sounds. I will get up at 4 am and meditate 10 hours a day….. Artistic pause…..!!!!! 1-0 hours…….
It’s not in India though. (Unfortunately) It’s right here in Cali. 4,5 hours drive north of LA. Funny thing is my little sister is doing the exact same course in India starting today. How extraordinary is that….???? We will probably connect on some higher spiritual level…
The first time I meditated I got a panic attack, but I’m all about facing your demons and if not becoming friends with them then at least getting to be acquainted with them …. Who wants to get rid of their demons? They are great and very helpful to have around when you are an actor. They can help you reach really crazy highs and lows so I’m embracing them and the angels just have to deal with that. Period!
I also just read the first couple of scenes from my next feature film ‘Theft by Deception’ (working title) and it looks like a lot of fun. I will play Olivia an art loving rich socialite. We are shooting up in Morro Bay in beginning December. That’s all I want to disclose for now…
Gotta run! Hoping to hit the gym before my audition. I’ve been a bad girl and skipped the exercise too many times this week.
