I’m soooo cheating on New York by posting this video. But hands down I can’t help it. The City of Angels has been growing on me like a fungus since I arrived 2 years ago and now we are in practically in love. My West Coast love is nothing like my NYC love, but it’s getting there.. or somewhere in the neighborhood …… However, this infatuation is different in taste, tone, shape, smell and vibe…. More laid back, pretty, sunny, easy yet always with it’s mind on the money…

Just got back form exotic Nicaragua and – admitted – I really, really dig the latino way of life on so many levels: Dance, food, music, sex, beach, rum, sun, sweat, cigars, sleep and not so much work… at least not until tomorrow ha ha
The Reggaeton is huge down there and this song ‘Sexy Movimiento’ (no translation needed I guess) is a remix that kind of got to me. And after having watched 8 year old girls dance to reggaeton like they were paid to do so I’m contemplating getting back into my dancing shoes and hitting the studio again. Like, in tomorrow. Man! Those budding chicks could do sexy movimiento with their hips I didn’t think possible. At least not in that age… It was like taking ‘the forbidden steps’ to a whole other level.

So today I’m obsessing over this song by Tanya Stephens and the video is smoking hot too. I know the track is old, but nevertheless it still gets me every time. It’s sultry, seductive and make you wish for a tropical summer… all summer… Enjoy!
